Virginia, huh? Us Cubs fans really are everywhere.
I just ran across your blog from this Link2Blog thingy and have been reading up. Man, this whole year was such a waste, and I'm just really hoping they spend next year seeing what these young major league-ready guys can do--especially this crop of pitchers. I think if they just resign themselves to knowing they won't contend next year, they'll be the better for it.
By the way, if you get the chance, check out our blog, yellow-chair-sports.blogspot.com. We're half Chicago guys, half Milwaukee, so we're pretty heavy on midwest stuff and do a good deal of Cubs banter. We're pretty heavy on humor, but we know our stuff well. I've been a little lax lately with my posting (I'm more the "baseball guy"), but our other guys are really going on football stuff now. I think you'd enjoy.
But anyway, good blog. It's always good to see some other Cub fans out there.
